AFAIK there is no way of restoring the names unless it can be done programmatically. One of the original features no longer supported is the naming of the Section tabs, so they display as IOW, only bare bones support is provided for legacy NBL documents. & restrictions which are imposed when NBL documents are opened in Word 2016 or later. Existing documents which were created using NBL still can be opened & displayed in the newer editions but new NBL documents cannot be created.
